Why Become a Member?
Although anyone in the community may join us in our efforts to serve our community, full membership brings a wealth of opportunities and is a rewarding experience.
As a member of the Kiwanis Club of Fairfax, you will participate in programs and projects that serve the children of Northern Virginia. You will have all the benefits of club membership – leadership roles, attending workshops and conventions, and Kiwanis International newsletters and magazines. Most importantly, you will be part of a community, have lifelong friends, and get a free club shirt!
With membership also comes networking opportunities. The Kiwanis Club of Fairfax is part of Division 20 of the Capital District of Kiwanis International. As a member, you will have the chance to network with peers from Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC through inter-club meetings with other Kiwanis clubs, monthly Divisional Council Meetings, annual Regional Mid-Winter conferences, annual District Conventions, and annual International Conventions.

Step #1: Attend a Meeting
Come to one of our meetings, and let us treat you to dinner!
Upon our board’s approval for membership, you will be assigned a sponsor. This person can answer any questions you may have about our club and Kiwanis International. New members are inducted at one of our meetings.

The Kiwanis Club of Fairfax cordially invites the Officers and Faculty Advisors of its sponsored Key Clubs (Annandale, Centreville, Fairfax, Oakton, Robinson, TJHSST, Westfield, Woodson) to this Key Club Officer Orientation Event!
The purpose of this meeting is to get to know one another, set the foundation for our Kiwanis Club’s support of its Key Clubs in the coming 2023-24 Service Year, and discuss important dates and opportunities.
Pizza and soft drinks will be provided; there is no need for our guests to bring anything.
